Fun day for all at Lochter

Twenty four staff and apprentices attended Lochter outdoor activity centre on Sunday 25th September. Fingers and toes were crossed for a dry day and thankfully the rain kept off.

We were split in to 3 groups and our 4 activities were Archery, Segway, Rifle shooting and 4x4 driving. After a few years of not being able to go because of Covid, the excitement and expectation was at fever pitch. There was lots of friendly competition between individuals and groups and everyone entered in to the spirit of the day and tried every activity, those who weren’t keen were helped along by their fellow apprentices. After we had completed all the activities we enjoyed a BBQ lunch and presentation of certificates in the hall.

A great day was had by all and we can’t wait for next time.

Special thanks to the Lochter staff and instructors who looked after us and to Aberdeen University Students Association who funded the event.
