Our drumming session was a much needed hour of fun...

Apprentices attended a drumming session kindly held by John Newton and premises offered by the Catalyst Vineyard Gilcomston Church.

There were a variety of different drums available for us to try, all of which made different sounds and our apprentices seemed to really enjoy moving around the circle to try each one. We played rhythmical games, call&response and some improvisation too!

It was so lovely to see each person's individual style and relationship with rhythm and everyone agreed it was an amazing experience.

Many thanks again to the Catalyst Vineyard church for the use of their space and to John for creating such a nurturing experience for our apprentices.
